Katharine Nisbet is Director, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) of Community Business, responsible for driving its D&I agenda, which includes our D&I in Asia networks, campaigns, and research. Currently based in Hong Kong, she is a D&I and leadership development veteran who has worked in London, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong.Katherine set up and ran Coca-Cola University Asia Pacific, Talent Management and Diversity & Inclusion for the Coca-Cola Company. This included launching globally standardized development and talent management programs and initiating the women in leadership focus for Asia Pacific. She worked with the key stakeholders to create and introduce locally relevant metrics and engage leadership support to build sponsorship and traction.

Whilst based in Singapore with American Express, Katharine was responsible for introducing the Diversity & Inclusion agenda in the region, identifying clear metrics and customized targets for each country, building awareness and introducing focused training and awareness-building networks and communities. Prior to moving to Singapore, Katharine was Head of Global Leadership Development in the New York head office and created a global leadership curriculum and a proven tracking system for measuring return on investment of training dollars. Once in Singapore, she continued to refine and tailor global content for local audiences across the region, balancing global efficiencies with locally relevant customization to ensure results.

Katharine’s early career, after completing a Masters in Occupational Psychology at the University of London, included designing and deploying Employee Opinion Surveys for large multinationals and designing Hay Management Consultants’ patented E-Learning platform in the UK.
