Sophie Guerin is Senior Diversity & Inclusion Manager responsible for managing and driving the regional development of Community Business’ Diversity & Inclusion in Asia Network (“DIAN”), including strategy, corporate membership, community engagement, and programming.

Currently residing in Hong Kong, she is a recognised thought leader on supplier diversity in Asia, having worked in both France and China. Prior to joining Community Business in June 2014, Sophie was the Greater China Deputy Director based in Beijing for WEConnect International, a Washington D.C. headquartered, corporate driven non-profit that helps to empower women business owners to succeed in global markets. In this role she led its market entry, strategy, and growth across the region. She incubated, developed and implemented the annual WEConnect China Marketplace, Asia’s leading supplier diversity marketplace and conference, connecting leading multinational corporations and women vendors resulting in greater market access for women.

Sophie is also the Founder of Women in International Public Affairs, a Paris based organisation supporting the inclusion and professional development of women in international public policy. She has conducted interviews with noted women leaders including President Michelle Bachelet, President of Chile and former Head of UNWomen; President Vike-Freiberga, Former President of Latvia; Anja Manuel, Founding Partner of RiceHadleyGates; and Gayle Tzemach Lemmon, journalist and member of the Council of Foreign Relations.

Sophie has a Masters of Public Affairs with a concentration in Asian economic growth models from SciencesPo Paris and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from New York University (Honors). She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
