Kevin Burns has recently left Community Business to join Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Vice President, responsible for leading employee engagement and communications across Technology and Operations within Asia Pacific which has over 3,000 associates across 12 countries. During his 6 years at Community Business, Kevin was a key driver of Community Business’ Creating Inclusive Workplaces for LGBT Employees Campaign, which aims to raise awareness of LGBT issues and encourage companies in Asia to adopt best practice. He also played a critical role in producing Community Business’ ground-breaking research on LGBT issues in Asia, as well as the development of Community Business’ Hong Kong LGBT Workplace Inclusion Index to be launched at the Conference. He has developed and delivered many workshops and training for companies across Asia on LGBT workplace issues. Kevin graduated from California State University San Marcos, where he studied Global Business Management and was awarded the Outstanding Global Business Student Award upon graduation for his overall academic and extracurricular performance.
