Christine has been appointed as CEO of United Overseas Bank Hong Kong since January 2012.

Christine is a seasoned senior banker holding various senior management positions in Hong Kong, USA, Canada, Singapore and China with Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ), Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC. She was CEO of ANZ (China) Ltd. She led the Standard Chartered Bank to win “Best Retail Bank in HK” and “Best Foreign Retail Bank in China”.

Her achievements have brought her the Asia Retail Congress award for “Best International Retail Banker’ in 2008 and she was also named by the China Woman Association as among the Top 100 Greater China Senior Women Executives in 2012.

Christine is also a non-executive director of United Overseas Bank (China) Ltd and an independent non-executive director of SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings Ltd, a publicly listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Christine has been a Christian by faith for over 30 years and has been active in sharing Christianity among fellow workers, customers and various business partners wherever she works. Currently, she is an Advisor for Faith and Global Engagement Program for University of Hong Kong.

Christine is a popular speaker in various public forums and has been speaking at various undergraduate and MBA programs in Hong Kong and China. She has been the Co-chairperson of the Bridge-to-China Walkathon Fundraising Committee since 2013.

Christine holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts from University of Hong Kong and MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She also holds a Diploma of Christian Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary from Texas, USA.
